Dear Parents,
We are approaching recital season. This is an exciting time for our dancers. I want to make sure everyone feels prepared for the big day. Here are the important dates to look forward to:
Recital fee’s have been posted to your accounts. This fee is a family fee and we do not charge at the doors on the day of the show. Everyone is welcome and invited to enjoy the performance.
Dress Rehearsals ~ MAY 6th-10th We have dress rehearsal during regular class time during this week, recreation teams will be on their Tuesday class and they are not required to wear them on Thursday. Dancers need to wear the required class dance shoes for dress rehearsals. We would love for them to try the recital hairstyle on that day but no make up is required.
Here is a list of the required shoes-
Ballet & Mini’s- pink ballet shoes Shoes to order
Pointe- Pointe shoes
Jazz and Diva, Elate, and Edge teams- Tan half soles shoes to order
Hip Hop- Black boots/all black High tops Shoe style
Boy’s Hip Hop- Any Basketball tennis shoes (Costume is blue, black, and white)
Practice music can be found under the music tab in your portal.

Hairstyle and make up tutorials will be posted to the portals soon.
Class Picture day- Hello Photography will be at The Movement on Tuesday, May 14th We will NOT have regular classes on this day due to pictures. We will have the BOYS HIP HOP combine with HIP HOP on Wednesday, May 15th 7-8PM. Recreation classes will come Thursday only and drill team class make up is on Thursday 7-8PM. We require EVERYONE to be part of picture day but you are not required to purchase pictures. Exact class times will be sent out and each dancer must register with Hello Dancer even if you are NOT ordering pictures.

Pre show ~ 10:30AM MDC soloists perform their 2024 routines
Dancers call time backstage ~ 11:45AM
Showtime 12:30PM
Free entrance
Concession will be available
NO TUMBLE CLASSES THIS SATURDAY

Dad’s have been voted in to perform at the recital and will have practices in May on Wednesdays 8-9PM. May 1st, 8th, & 15th. ALL dance dad’s are encouraged to participate!
