RECITAL INFO
Dear MDC Family, We are approaching the recital day! It is so exciting at this time of year. Here are the important dates and things to remember:
May 9th-12th– DRESS REHEARSALS IN CLASS. Dancers will bring home costume if tuition and fee’s are paid in FULL.
May 13th-CLASS PICTURES at the studio with Hello Photography. A schedule and a link for ordering will be sent out from Hello Photography soon. You are NOT required to purchase pictures! Dancers are welcome to do hair and make up of YOUR choice for the class picture. Make sure you are PICTURE READY when you arrive at your scheduled time. Wear costume and correct dance shoes.
ATTENTION FRIDAY BALLET CLASSES ⚠️ Class will be held with teacher Kristen on WEDNESDAY, MAY 11th beg/Int Ballet 6-7PM Pointe/Adv Ballet 7-8PM. NO class on Friday May 13th due to pictures.
May 16th-20th- Regular class schedule. No costumes required. Practice videos and music- MDC YOUTUBE LINK
May 21st- RECITAL DAY! Hair and Make up tutorials links below. Hairstyle- Middle part with slick low ponytail, hair straightened. Use hair colored hair tie. Make Up- Stage performance style. RED lipstick, Blush, mascara (not required for mini’s) The recital venue is an outdoor amphitheater. You are welcome to bring camp chairs and blankets. There is stadium seats, all seating will be first come first seated. Pre show entertainment with MDC soloists is 11:00AM-12:30PM. Dancers call time is 11:45AM. Showtime is 12:30PM.NO SATURDAY CLASSES ON RECITAL DAY‼️

May 23rd-28th– Class parties for the end of season. Schedule is as follows ‼️ Competition teams & Group solos Monday & Tuesday ONLY, Rec Teams Divas, Elate, Edge TUESDAY ONLY, Ballet parties WEDNESDAY beg/int 6-7pm ALL pointe 7-8PM. No Friday ballet classes. All other classes at regular class time. We will have Saturday classes May 28th.
Studio is closed May 29th- June 5th.Summer classes are June 6th- August 26th. Registration for summer classes will be open soon!
