We have been a part of The Movement Dance Center since 2014 when my daughter was 4 years old. I say “we” because it’s a second family to us, not just something my daughter is involved in. The studio owner and director, Ricci Galvan, really encourages and cultivates that united, community culture among all the dancers and their families. Some of my daughter and I’s closest friends have been made through this studio. In addition to this, the dance training and experience my daughter has had over these 9 years has been fantastic. She has had tremendous growth in her technique and has had the opportunity to learn and be trained in multiple styles of dance. This studio provides opportunities to perform and optionally compete, and the mental growth and confidence my daughter has gained by having these opportunities has helped her not only in dance but in other areas of her life. I would absolutely recommend The Movement Dance Center to anyone looking for a quality extracurricular experience for their child.
