Fall Dance/Competition team Auditions
Dear Parents, We would like to invite all serious and dedicated dancers to audition for this years competition teams. Below is the basic information. Feel free to contact Ricci with further questions regarding our teams.
We will open up fall registration on our website once we have chosen our teams. We are looking forward to a great fall season of dance!
FEEDBACK REQUESTED- WOULD YOUR DANCER ATTEND DAY CLASSES AT THE STUDIO ON THE OFF SCHOOL DAYS? We would love to offer non recital classes and tumbling on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s, & Friday’s with the new school schedule this year. Please reply if your dancer would be interested in these classes. Your feedback is important to us and we would like to hear from you!
AUDITIONS FOR OUR COMPETITION TEAM 2020-2021
MDC encourages ALL dedicated dancers ages 5 years and older to audition.
AUDITION CLINICSWEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19TH 6-8PM for ages 5-10 yearsTHURSDAY, AUGUST 20TH 6-8PM for ages 11 years and up
AUDITIONS FRIDAY, AUGUST 21ST3:00-5:00PM Ages 5-10 Years5:30-7:30PM Ages 11 years and up
Please arrive in dance clothes of your choice, hair and make up audition ready. Pictures for the judges will be taken at the clinics. We will announce the 2020-2021 team on social media and our website. The dancers will be posted in ranking order. A parent meeting will be held before fall classes begin with detailed information regarding finances and important dates. This is a huge commitment. Please contact Ricci to address any concerns you have before auditions.
Team Monthly Tuition – $130 Practices- Mondays and WednesdaysCompetition fee annual range- $1,200.00 per dancer. This includes team sweats, bags, shoes, competition fees, costumes, and practice leotards. Payments are split up and scheduled September-February.
Audition fee is $10 per dancer. Must be paid at the clinic in order to audition. This goes towards staff fees for the clinics and the judges fees for auditions.
