Dear Parents, It is recital prep time! We are working with Clearfield High School auditorium to lock down the date for our Christmas recital. We were promised a date at the beginning of the season but we are now waiting on the district to open dates for shows. The dates we are hoping for are December 17th, 18th, or 19th (19th would be a matinee). I will post the date as soon as I have confirmation. Classes are working hard to prepare and the teachers will be posting music and practice videos directly to our YouTube channel: The Movement Dance Center YouTube
We will be trying on the Christmas costume during classes this week. We will have a Black tank top with MDC printed on it and high waisted black cherry leggings, see pictures below. We love keeping our costumes at a reasonable price during Christmas and having something modest onstage that the dancers can then continue to wear for classes after our show.
Christmas Costume Fees are DUE by NOVEMBER 7th, $35 per dancer (each class will wear the same costume)

OPEN classes and tumble do NOT perform at the recital.

THRILLER WEEK at MDCOctober 27th-31st (Competition team on Wednesday and Recreation teams on Thursday)Dancers are welcome to come to dance in costume. We will be doing fun games and Halloween themed dances.
