MDC SURVEY
Dear Parents,
We want to hear from you! With the state opening up businesses we are excited for things to get in motion! With that information, MDC has decided to do Zoom classes for one more week, and allow time for everyone to give your feedback and suggestions regarding classes starting up in studio. Please take 2 minutes to complete this survey so that we can use the responses to help us in making the best decision for our dance family. Our goal would be to open up for classes on May 11th to the original fall schedule attached below. We would have the following guidelines in place when dancers come to class:
Dancers ONLY will be allowed in studio. No parents or family members in the waiting area. Drop off and pick up ONLY. All payments can be made online.

Students will be asked to wash their hands before and after class.
We ask that dancers bring a water bottle from home and do not share with friends! We will NOT have the drinking fountain accessible.
No outside shoes will be allowed on the dance floors, please pack practice shoes.
We are opening ALL access doors to the studio to avoid congregating in the waiting area. All dancers arriving for class will enter through the back doors on the south side, and exit out of the front North side doors. All door will be labeled appropriately.
Teachers will not allow any group lifts or partnering at this time.
Please discuss with your dancer the importance of keeping distance from friends and avoiding touching, hugging, or holding hands with friends.
Wearing masks is highly encouraged and ALL MDC staff will wear masks
Spots will be given on the dance floor for the dancers to stand on during class to avoid close contact with others
Anyone showing any symptoms of illness are asked to stay home and recuperate. Anyone with family members that are showing symptoms of illness are also asked to stay home. This includes but is not limited to coughing and a fever. If you arrive at the studio with signs of sickness you will be sent home.
We plan to have youtube live/recoded options for dancers that decide to stay at home.
MDC will be sanitizing in-between classes and at the end of each night.
Recital pictures would be taken individually and then made into a collage concept, picture attached. Hello Photography has all social guidelines in place. Target picture day would be Thursday, June 11th. Recital date will be sent out once we review your feedback and have a better idea of how close we are to putting on a show with a large crowd. Mid-late June.
Our main goal is to bring back the joy of dance to our dance family! While maintaining a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
